Cardigan Garage was begun by Norman MacKenzie. Three sons of Norman, Willard, Donnie and Garth became mechanics. Donnie remained in Cardigan and continued at Cardigan Garage while Willard and Garth moved to Ontario. Today Darcy MacKenzie continues in the family business.
